August 14, 2008 New Live Demo
A new live demo is above from my solo show. I just got done teaching 6 weeks at a summer camp for kids through Kids Creative. Here is the finale song from the show "Yuckyman and the Power of QIOS" (Quiet Intruders on Scooters) that the kids and I wrote.
Watch the demos and book a show please, more live solo shows in NYC in September. Going to Cheeseland for Grandparents 60th! Check out www.theaterthe.com for the theater company I'm in with Aldo Perez and Jenny Lee Mitchell.
May 30, 2008 Loft it up!
Muskego was fantastic, y'all don't know what you missed.
It's the end of the year at Kids
Creative where we write music and plays
with the kids of PS 191 in NYC. Here are a couple of my favorites from
this month. The kids and we wrote the words and music together. They
are 1-4 grade.
Big news here. Bryan Teoh, Kevin
MacLeod, Theater THE and
I rented a loft space next to ours. It's huge and open for business.
We will be hosting events and are looking for other artists looking to
co-rent the space and also work in there. Let me know if you are interested.
May 1, 2008 Muskego Bound
I'm off to Muskego for the premiere
of the wind ensemble piece I wrote in honor of their high school's 50th
anniversary. While I'm out enjoy "Dandelion
Park," a diddy I wrote from the essays
the kids wrote about their town.
My father, an avid conservationist and I have been working on
Nature's Lamp, a project that seeks help people better learn about God through
Nature. There's been some great progress of late, so I thought you might enjoy
the update. Check it out here and let us know
what you think.

Thank
to oustanding designer Rachel
Comey, I had the priviledge to write solo
piano music for one of her fashion shows for fashion week in NYC. It
was a great experience and the show was a success. Here's the audio
from the show. We were going for some Houdini-esque, many shifting styles,
some mystery, darkness, etc. The show was in the historic and elegant
Salmagundi Art Club building. Here
are pictures
from the event.
I'm back from the woods! We got a lot done on the Nature's
Lamp Project and soon you'll hear all about it...
For now though I want to formally announce the residency at Goodbye
Blue Monday in Brooklyn! I have four shows coming up there. This
Sunday the 2nd as well as March 16th, March 30, and April. All Sundays
@ 8pm...No Cover. I hope to see you there, it's going to be a riot. And here's a new royalty-free track I made for the show: Incinerator Hill
It's about this hill by the incinerator where I grew up
that we would sled down. I took my old Flexible Flyer down it last week
for old time's sake and hit a jump, landed on my face and got a fat lip.
It was awesome.

In honor
of Valentine's Day here's a String Quartet I wrote called Wondrous Love Hope you enjoy it and put it to good use...
I'll be in the woods working on the Nature's Lamp project
for the next ten days, so you'll have to explore the site on your own
for awhile! I will check email though if anyone has questions or comments.
Also, stay tuned for March's residency at GoodBye
Blue Monday in Brooklyn!
First concert is Sunday March 2! Thanks to Steve Trimboli at GBM!
February 8, 2008 Wait, Wait! That's Not the Joke!
I was digging through the archives and found some nice tunes
from "WAIT, WAIT! That's not
the Joke!." You should really download the jokebook
ASAP. I'm a pretty modest guy and I would have to say it's the best jokebook
ever written. Emily Zempel and I write additional punchlines to all your
favorite jokes. It comes with an audio book and full narration! You'll
love it, check it out.

**Two shows in NYC this weekend**
Faytron Rocks! is for
the live solo show at GoodBye
Blue Monday in Brooklyn. I'd love to see
you there. It's my favorite venue in the city. Friday Night at 9pm. If
you can't make the show download
the track anyway and enjoy. It comes in the part of the show when
the giant labratory robot ape, Faytron, escapes from her cage, overruns
the lap and steals all the foundation's money.
I'll also be playing with the greats Aldo
Perez, Jenny Mitchell and Richard
Ginnochio at the Living Room (second
favorite venue) this Saturday at Midnight.
Also, looks like lots of folks are enjoying the royalty-free
page. Wonderful! Thanks for the support! You might also enjoy the compositions page
and Project
Paul for a change of pace. Have fun.
Every Tuesday at 8pm I have a show on modmylife.com,
the internet reality show that webware calls
"so amazingly uncomfortable it's amazing." Tonight's a
great night to tune in because we were just featured in amNY and
there's been some great new additions to the site today.
You can now viewed archives of my past 'mods.'
Tune in at 8pm, suggest mods for me to do around
NYC, others will vote on your ideas, and then I perform the best
one for you all with hidden cameras and the help of lucky passerbys.
If you haven't tried yet tried it, tonight's the night. See you soon...
Here is tribute song
I wrote to Librivox,
the great public domain audio book site. Check it out if you haven't. The
clip is from "The
Heavenly Life" by James Allen as read by Gabriel. Enjoy!
See you tonight at the Living Room if you are in NYC.

to me growing up. I hope it did to you, too.
